Biography:
Adam Aguirre (pronounced uh-GEAR-ee) joined the firm as an associate in September 2023. His practice focuses primarily on civil litigation but also includes criminal defense, internal investigations, white collar defense, and issues of data privacy and security. In addition to developing unique litigation strategies for clients, Adam has helped a variety of those clients conduct internal investigations in response to government subpoenas and develop data privacy policies and agreements to comply with state privacy laws.
Before joining Sheehey, Adam worked as a litigation associate for a large law firm in Boston. Prior to his life as an attorney, he worked as an elementary school educator for more than a decade in New York City and Providence, Rhode Island.
Adam graduated from Harvard Law School, where he served on the executive board of the Civil Rights-Civil Liberties Law Review and was a member of First Class (an organization to support students who are the first in their family to go to law school), Lambda (the LGBTQ+ affinity group), and the American Constitution Society. He received a Master of Science in Education from Hunter College as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Government from Georgetown University.
