Biography:
Colette Schmidt joined the firm as an associate in June 2022. Her practice focuses primarily on general litigation. Prior to joining the firm, Colette worked as a worker’s compensation defense and insurance defense attorney in Vermont. She also worked for an environmental organization.
Colette graduated cum laude from Vermont Law School, where she served as Editor-in-Chief of Volume 44 of Vermont Law Review, a Dean’s Fellow, a member of the National Moot Court Team, a Legal Research I Teaching Assistant, and a Student Ambassador. Colette graduated magna cum laude with honors thesis from the University of Hartford, where she received her B.A. in International Studies and Economics as a Division I student athlete.
