Kevin Lumpkin Featured in Bar Journal Article Highlighting Pro Bono Work

Kevin-newSheehey attorney Kevin Lumpkin was featured in the Fall 2016 edition of the Vermont Bar Journal in an interview highlighting Kevin’s work with the Chittenden Superior Court pro bono clinic.  Earlier this year, Kevin received the 2016 Distinguished Pro Bono Service Award from the Vermont Bar Association for his work through the clinic.

In the article, Kevin discusses the importance of attorneys providing pro bono service to clients who cannot afford attorneys; he also recognizes the legacy of other attorneys doing pro bono work including the work of Sheehey partner Ian Carleton in his representation of John Grega.

Kevin is an associate in the firm’s litigation group, and he practices in both state and federal court.

Justin A. Brown Joins Growing Litigation Team

justinSheehey is pleased to announce that Justin A. Brown has recently joined the firm as an associate in the firm’s litigation group.  Justin is a 2009 graduate of Vermont Law School, and he completed a clerkship with Judge Peter W. Hall on the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.  Justin has five years of experience in litigation at the Boston office of the global law firm DLA Piper LLP (US).

Justin has represented clients in complex business disputes, health care fraud, and land-use litigation.  Justin’s practice at Sheehey focuses on complex civil litigation, white collar and felony criminal defense, and internal investigations.
