Biography: 

Arline Duffy joined the firm in 2009 and is a principal of the firm.  She currently serves as the firm’s General Counsel.  Arline’s diverse practice focuses on assisting business and non-profits clients in corporate, intellectual property, and employment matters; counseling financial institutions on regulatory compliance; and advising many homeowners’ associations.  She is also a member of the firm’s estate planning team. Prior to joining the firm, Arline practiced in the areas of intellectual property, regulatory compliance, contracts, and university policy development and governance at The George Washington University.

Arline is recognized by The Best Lawyers in America for her work in Business Organizations Law.

Notable Representations:

  • Regularly advises clients on legal issues related to starting and running a small business.
