Eric Miller joined the firm in 1999 and is a principal and the managing partner of the firm. He specializes in complex civil and white collar criminal litigation. Mr. Miller regularly represents physicians and other health care providers and institutions before state and federal courts and regulators. He represents businesses and individuals in state and federal courts in cases involving a variety of issues, including commercial, banking, fraud and employment disputes. Mr. Miller also represents a local television broadcaster in defamation and other First Amendment-related matters. Mr. Miller has significant experience trying cases to verdict before both juries and regulatory agencies.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Miller practiced as an associate with the litigation department of O'Melveny & Myers in San Francisco, California, concentrating on complex commercial litigation, products liability litigation and insurance coverage cases. He served as a law clerk to the Honorable Fred I. Parker, Circuit Judge for the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, and to the Honorable Steven J. McAuliffe, District Judge for the United States District Court for the District of New Hampshire.

Mr. Miller is a graduate of Yale Law School (1995) and Duke University (A.B. magna cum laude, 1992).
