Charlotte B. Ancel's practice focuses primarily on energy and telecommunications law, including the representation of public utility and telecommunications companies in contested proceedings before the Vermont Public Service Board, and state and federal courts. Ms. Ancel also has experience trying civil jury cases to verdict.

Ms. Ancel graduated first in her class from the University of New Hampshire Law School, receiving her J.D., magna cum laude, in 2007, and a B.A., magna cum laude, from Boston College in 2000. During law school, she served as Editor-in-Chief of the Law Review and clerked for the Honorable James E. Duggan, Associate Justice of the New Hampshire Supreme Court.

Ms. Ancel is admitted to practice in the State of Vermont, the United States District Court for the District of Vermont, and the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit. She currently serves on the Boards of the United Way of Chittenden County and Maple Leaf Farm.
